German-made Rapidur® B5 Rapid Drying Screed Binder, which makes up our screed, is a special polymer-modified binder for particularly economical production of high-strength, rapid-set cement screed – based on DIN 18560 – allowing early floor installation.
We supplied and fitted SMET LiteFlo® Lightweight Flowing Screed for this new build in Harold’s Cross, Dublin. German-made SMET LiteFlo® is unique because it’s the first pumpable lightweight flowing screed available. Made from specially selected aggregates – means it’s 30% lighter than conventional flowing screeds and can be laid in reduced thicknesses. The screed offers a high yield, 43kg per m2 @ 40mm.
We completed the flooring refurbishment in this Cork hotel kitchen at 60 mm with our Rapidur® B5 Rapid Drying Screed and SMET supplied DPM Merlin liquid DPM. The newly refurbished floor was ready for MMA resin flooring in 5 days.
We delivered a fact-track solution for the flooring in this private build in Ballycastle, Co Mayo. In total 300 m2 of Rapidur B5 Rapid Drying Screed was laid at 70mm at different thicknesses to incorporate tiles and timber flooring on UFH. We supplied and fitted Alpha Hemihydrate Screed and SMET LiteFlo® Lightweight Flowing Screed for the floor solution in this self-build in picturesque West Donegal. The ground floor was prepared with Alpha Hemihydrate Screedat 50mm with UFH, maximising the clients’ insulation. The first floor was completed at 50 mm with the unique Lightweight floor screed solution, SMET LiteFlo® Lightweight Liquid Screed poured on UFH on timber joists.
