We supplied our Rapidur® EB5 Rapid Drying Sand / Cement screed on behalf of the Murphy Group in this project at Stillorgan Reservoir using our Mobile Screed Factory.  This unique Fast Track Screed is a pneumatically pumpable, high-quality, rapid drying, levelling floor screed material based on sand, cement, and Sopro Rapidur® EB5 screed accelerator.   This screed is unique in that it allows early use of floor and early final floor covering installations.

Our floor screed complies with the requirements of BS EN 13813:2002 and BS 8204: Part 1 and can be used for bonded, unbonded, and floating floor screed constructions for both residential and commercial applications.

Our Traditional Sand/Cement Floor Screed is suitable for floors in homes, offices, public buildings, and places exposed to similar loads. It may be applied as a levelling screed directly onto a load-bearing floor, unbonded on a separating barrier (polythene) or a floating floor. Traditional Sand / Cement Floor Screed should be covered with a floor finish such as tiles, linoleum, parquet, cork, or carpet.

We supplied and fitted the flooring to this newly built courthouse in Drogheda, for principal contractor BAM Construction. The new courthouse consisting of two courtrooms and associated facilities was built on a landmark town centre site adjacent to the River Boyne.  This is our fast-track – rapid drying floor screed solution, allowing early final flooring installation, prepared using German-made Sopro Rapidur® B5 Rapid Drying Screed Binder.

It’s one of BAM’s 7 projects for The Court Bundle Public-Private Partnership (PPP) that will see the construction and refurbishment of seven landmark courthouses across Ireland by the end of 2017.
