What a site! On a fine winter’s morning, using our Mobile Screed Factory and with the help of our Laser-Guided, Screed Robot – Buddy (see below), we supplied 240m2 of our Traditional Sand/Cement Floor Screed at 75mm in Fanad Peninsula, Co Donegal.

Our Traditional Sand/Cement Floor Screed is a pneumatically pumpable, high-quality, leveling floor screed material based on sand and cement. It’s mixed using Portland Cement, sand, fibres, and water and is factory-produced on-site by our state-of-the-art Mobile Screed Factory. Our floor screed complies with the requirements of BS EN 13813:2002 and BS 8204: Part 1 and can be used for bonded, unbonded, and floating floor screed constructions for both residential and commercial applications.

Traditional Sand/Cement Floor Screed is suitable for floors in homes, offices, public buildings, and places exposed to similar loads. It may be applied as a levelling screed directly onto a load-bearing floor, unbonded on a separating barrier (polythene), or a floating floor. Traditional Sand / Cement Floor Screed should be covered with a floor finish such as tiles, linoleum, parquet, cork, or carpet.

With our Mobile Screed Factory and with the help of our Laser-Guided Screed Robot, we supplied and fitted 400m2 High Strength (30 N) Highly Polymer Modified Sand/Cement Floor Screed, fully bonded and laid to falls from 180mm to 120mm.  The project was completed using Bonding slurry from Sopro GmbH. The floors will receive a final finish of Ucrete by floor finish specialists Ancorite. The complex project was delivered with expert advice and 1st class technical service from our partner Smet Building Products Ltd.
