We used our Mobile Screed Factory and our Laser-Guided Screed Robot, Buddy, to deliver 100mm of our Traditional Sand/Cement Floor Screed in this stunning self-build project overlooking Lough Swilly towards  Inch Island in Donegal.

What a beautiful part of the country! Lough Swilly is a glacial fjord in County Donegal, Ireland, situated between the Inishowen and Fanad peninsulas. One of only three glacial fjords in Ireland, it is known for its beautiful scenery, diverse wildlife, and the historical wreck of the SS Laurentic.

Our Traditional Sand/Cement Floor Screed is a pneumatically pumpable, high-quality, leveling floor screed material based on sand and cement. It’s mixed using Portland Cement, sand, fibers, and water, and is factory-produced on-site by our state-of-the-art Mobile Screed Factory. Our floor screed complies with the requirements of BS EN 13813:2002 and BS 8204: Part 1 and can be used for bonded, unbonded, and floating floor screed constructions for both residential and commercial applications.

Traditional Sand/Cement Floor Screed is suitable for floors in homes, offices, public buildings, and other areas exposed to similar loads. It may be applied as a levelling screed directly onto a load-bearing floor, unbonded on a separating barrier (polythene), or a floating floor.

Traditional Sand / Cement Floor Screed should be covered with a floor finish such as tiles, linoleum, parquet, cork, or carpet.
